Terms
Terms of use
Reading this page tells you the terms on which you use the site. The first one matters most: what is written here is information, not advice.

Scope
What does this site offer you?
This site sets out the published official rules and procedures for moving to the United Kingdom. What it offers is information: it is not immigration, legal, tax or property advice, and it does not stand in place of a registered adviser's own assessment.
British Global advises on no immigration, legal, tax or property matter; it sets out published rules only. Immigration and legal advice is given only by advisers registered with the OISC or authorised by the SRA.
Accuracy
What is undertaken about accuracy?
Every figure on these pages is published with its source and the date it was checked beside it. Official rules change independently of British Global, so no undertaking is given that any figure stays current; check the primary source yourself before acting.
The rules we apply on accuracy
- Every figure carries its source and the date that source was checked.
- Official publications are the source; a figure taken second-hand is not published.
- When a rule changes the page is updated and the check date is renewed.
- Write to us about anything you think is wrong and it is checked against its source.
British Global is not answerable for the outcome of decisions you take on the strength of published rules; consult a registered adviser before you act.
Copyright and licences
Who owns the content and the images?
The text, the design and the software belong to Hüseyin Demir, and copying or republishing them without permission is not permitted. The icons, videos and photographs belong to third parties and each is used under its own licence, with its source named.
Which licence applies to each icon, video and photograph, the photographers’ names and the source links are listed one by one on their own page:
Governing law
Which law governs these terms?
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. British Global is run in the United Kingdom as a sole trader, not a limited company, and holds no Companies House number.
When the terms change, the update date at the top of this page changes with them. Nothing is changed retrospectively: a request is dealt with under the terms published on the day it arrived.
